Hull Services is offering a FREE parenting course, with a free group for children ages 5 to 12 running at the same time.
Topics for parents include: Attending and giving attention, planned ignoring, transitional warnings, "when...then..." strategies, planning ahead, motivation systems, effective consequences, and problem solving.
Topics for children include: How to listen, how to do what is asked, how to share your feelings, how to problem solve, how to calm down, what to do when things don't go your way, time-out, and how to be a good friend.
